Cadia Black Chia Seeds
I really like the Cadia brand Organic Black Chia Seeds. They are an affordable high quality organic product. And the package contains a reasonable about of seeds so you are stocked up for awhile.
Three tablespoons of chia seeds soaked for awhile or overnight in a quarter cup to half a cup of water is an easy way to plump them up to add to a smoothie. And those three tablespoons contain 5 grams of protein!
Chia seeds can also be sprinkled right from the package into a salad, onto fruits or veggies, and on top of your fruit bowl. You can add them to yogurt or your favorite milk alternative to make a quick pudding type treat. Yum. Any way you can eat them, you get mega nutrition!
I try to include chia seeds in my diet almost every day. They are great.
